Annelie Smith is an accomplished certified clinician who spent more than 25 years in clinical practice and the wellness industry, gaining experience in many different applications of clinical and functional nutrition. This includes highly specialized nutrition interventions for critically ill patients, wellness, and resilience support for executives, and enhancing sports performance for elite athletes and sports teams.
She has been involved in the field of nutrigenomics for more than 20 years and has translated thousands of genetic reports into clinical practice. This led to her being one of the most recognized international experts in the field today.
Annelie has been part of the 3X4 Genetics journey since it launched and has overseen all aspects of the clinical development of the test, the Clinical Guide that is used by all practitioners to support the translation of the tests.
As the head of the clinical and mentorship team, she has been instrumental in supporting the development of partnerships with over 3,000 health providers by ensuring her team fulfills the clinical aspects of product development and the provision of mentorship to all practitioners who use the 3X4 Genetics test in their practice. The team supports practitioners in the clinical translation of the results to share with their patients.
