Dr. Maderis's practice has always focused on finding the root cause or causes of a person’s symptoms or diagnosis. Over the years, his practice has evolved into certain specialties by helping people find the underlying causes of their symptoms and effectively treating those conditions.
He specializes in treating Lyme disease and tickborne infections, mold-related illness, autoimmune conditions, chronic viral infections, and conditions associated with complex chronic illnesses such as mast cell activation disorder (MCAS) and chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS).
Dr. Maderis is a board member of the International Society for Environmentally Acquired Illness (ISEAI) and a member of the International Lyme and Associated Disease Society (ILADS), the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM), the National Association of Environmental Medicine (NAEM), the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), and the California Naturopathic Doctors Association (CNDA).
His approach to treating chronic illness is to identify all underlying causes of symptoms to provide a clear direction for treatment.
