About this class

Candida is a naturally occurring fungus that grows in and on our bodies. However, when conditions allow it to grow out of control, it can lead to an infection known as candidiasis or candida overgrowth. This often leads to symptoms of bloating, skin rashes, intense sugar cravings, and chronic fatigue.

Join us on May 23rd as Julie Ann Davey, ANP-C, ACNP-C, CFMP teaches us about the implications of candida infections and a root-cause approach to diagnosing and managing overgrowth.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Discuss common causes of candida overgrowth specifically in the gastrointestinal tract.
  2. Understand common signs and symptoms of candida overgrowth in addition to functional lab testing to investigate the root cause.
  3. Explore strategies for managing candida including both functional and conventional approaches.
