Two-thirds of the US population suffers from magnesium deficiency. There is a growing body of evidence indicating that chronic magnesium deficiency may be implicated in the pathogenesis of various metabolic disorders such as overweight and obesity, insulin resistance (IR) and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), hypertension (HTN), changes in lipid metabolism, and low-grade inflammation. This is one of many nutrients that can play a significant role in the prevention and treatment of pathologies. Clinicians continue to order testing that is not determining the actual status of a nutrient.
This webinar will provide the clinician with the importance of performing laboratory diagnostics that determine the function of a cell vs static testing that only displays an amount of a nutrient or metabolite. They will also learn how these tests are relative to numerous pathologies and should be ordered on a routine basis to evaluate the present status, treatment plan and progress of their therapies.
Join us on (March 29, 2023) as (Dr. Ron Grabowski, DC, RD) teaches us about the clinical importance of functional laboratory testing.
