Skin and gut health are closely connected. In this practical, case-based educational session, we’ll explore how stool testing with the GI-MAP® can help identify gastrointestinal patterns that may correlate with common skin presentations.
You’ll learn to interpret key GI-MAP® markers through the lens of the gut–skin connection and recognize patterns often seen in conditions such as acne, eczema, and other inflammatory skin presentations. Discussion topics include intestinal permeability, microbial balance, immune regulation, and how factors like low stomach acid and histamine-producing organisms may influence skin reactivity.
This session is designed to help practitioners understand the relationships between gut and skin health and apply evidence-informed interpretation frameworks in clinical practice.
What You Will Learn:
Join us to gain a deeper understanding of the gut–skin axis and refine your interpretation skills using the GI-MAP® stool test.
